Joomla 1.6/1.7 tags - GiTags

This is a Joomla 1.6.0 tag system, based on JTags which enable you to add tags to articles and display them on your website, thus increasing your number of internal links.
It is free for you to use as you like it, under GPL License.
It works only on Joomla 1.6, so if you need it for Joomla 1.5 then use the original one: JTags. A demo of the working plugin can be seen on this page.

What you need is to install the all-in-one-package: pkg_gitags.zip which will install:
- a component so you can mange the tags,
- the plugins required for the extension to work
- a module so you can display a tag cloud
or each extension at a time:
3.plugin_gitags_content_save.zip
Do not forgot that the plugins must be activated in order to work.
Some nice features were added on top of the original one:
- you can import tags from meta keywords
- a nicer tag selections tool
They also work with Joomla 1.7
